Welcoming you by the company’s representatives at Tbilisi International Airport and then take the car and go to the hotel to pick up the rooms.
After breakfast at the hotel, a breathtaking trip awaits you in the magnificent Caucasus Mountains and begins with the largest dam in eastern Georgia. Next, we will visit Ananuri Castle, which is one of the best monuments in late feudal Georgia. Although there are few monuments like this on the territory of the country, it is Ananuri who helps to clearly understand how people lived in that distant time.
Unlike other similar structures, the Anuranic structures are well preserved. This special feature arouses interest in the castle of tourists and historians alike, and since 2012, this castle has occupied the status of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
here you can also see and buy various handmade objects (poetry, embroidery). After the castle, you will have the option of having lunch at the restaurant of Pasanauri.
After lunch, you will head to Gudauri, a ski resort located on a south-facing plateau of the Greater Caucasus Mountains. Discover the Treaty of Georgievsk Monument, built-in 1983 to celebrate the bicentennial of the Treaty of Georgievsk and ongoing friendship between Georgia and Russia. Inside the monument is a large tile mural that spans the whole circumference of the structure and depicts scenes from Georgian history. Then to the city of Kazbegi and drive through the beautiful valleys and forests to the Church of Gergeti Trinity, which is located at an altitude of more than 2,170 meters.
If Weather permitting, you can flag one of the most legendary glaciers in the Caucasus-Kaspeg region (5,047 meters) and in the evening we will head back to the capital city Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Uplistsikhe. Uplistsikhe is a fortress and cave city. It is located near the town of Gori, was founded in the Bronze Age and was populated by people from the 16th century BC. It is one of the earliest settlements in the world. The next destination is Gori. the homeland of Stalin, to visit Stalin’s house, museum and train wagon. At the Stalin museum, learn about the life of Stalin at the exhibit which includes unique photos, gifts, and furniture. After the museum, we will head back to Bakuriani Overnight in Bakuriani.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to Akhaltsikhe and visit Rabati fortress. The fairytale fortress from the 9th century is now considered an important sight in Georgia. Then drive to Atskuri. It is one of the oldest settlements in Georgia and is located in the southern part of the country between the cities of Borjomi and Akhaltsikhe. Atskuri is located on the border of the and the area offers good opportunities to ride horses. While riding you will learn interesting stories about horses and territory from your travel guide. Riding takes about an hour and then drive to Bakuriani. Overnight in Bakuriani.
After breakfast in the hotel, you drive to Borjomi. Here you can visit “Borjomi National Park”. The most important medical springs in the village are still on the territory of the park. The waters of the various springs have a healing effect in the treatment of various diseases. Afterward, drive to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi.
After breakfast in the hotel, the drive goes towards Kakheti. This region is considered the winegrowing region in Georgia. Bodbe Women’s Monastery is one of the most famous monasteries in the country. From Bodbe you can get to the city of Sighnaghi. It is a small beautiful city, also called “City of Love”. A lot has been restored and modernized in Sighnaghi in recent years. In Sighnaghi you can try dinner and Georgian wine in the local restaurant. Overnight in Tbilisi.
After breakfast in the hotel, start with the capital Tbilisi. Here you will visit the following sights: old sulfur baths, Georgian Orthodox and Armenian Gregorian churches, Jewish synagogue and Turkish mosque, which they stand one after the other and show how the different believers had prayed next to each other. From the Metekhi Plateau, you can also have a wonderful view over the old town and the Kura River (Mtkvari). Nearby is also a Narikala fortress. You can take the cable car from Europa Park to Narikala Fortress. Narikala Castle as a defensive fortress was built in the 4th century.
