Welcoming you by the company’s representatives at Tbilisi International Airport and then take the car and go to the hotel to pick up the rooms.
Then we will start our Tour from Botanical Garden and then to Mtatsminda Park amusement park up the mountain to watch TV broadcast tower, Mtatsminda amusement Park, up the mountain and enjoy modern entertainment games. in the evening we will back to the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to the old capital Mtskheta. Mtskheta is today a religious center of the country. In Mtskheta and its surroundings, there are numerous valuable cultural monuments. They are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Among them is the medieval (1010-1029) Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (“Life-giving Pillar”), where is buried the robe of Christ.
Jvari (cross) monastery from the 6th century. From here you can see the confluence of Mtkvari (Kura) and Aragvi.
Afterward, you will return to Tbilisi and visit the following sites: ancient sulfur baths, Georgian Orthodox and Armenian Gregorian churches, Jewish synagogue and Turkish mosque, which stand one after another and show how the different faithful prayed side by side. Tbilisi is and has always been a tolerant city with a big multinational society.
Continue with Metechi Church, where you can hear the legend of the Tbilisi Foundation. From the Metechi Plateau, you can also enjoy beautiful views over the old town and the river Kura (Mtkvari). Nearby is also Narikala Fortress. You can travel from Europe park to Narikala fortress by cable car.
Narikala Castle as a defensive fortress was built in the 4th century. Here you will also discover Shardeni Street with its fashionable, cozy cafes and art galleries. Walking to one of the oldest churches in the Anchiskhati church (6th century). One of the oldest and most valuable icons with the face of Jesus Christ was kept in the church.
Free time at your disposal (to buy souvenirs). in the evening we will back to the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, a breathtaking trip awaits you in the magnificent Caucasus Mountains and begins with the largest reservoir in eastern Georgia. Next, we will visit Ananuri Castle, which is one of the best monuments in late feudal Georgia. Although there are few monuments like this on the territory of the country, it is Ananuri who helps to clearly understand how people lived in that distant time.
Unlike other similar structures, the Anuranic structures are well preserved. This special feature arouses interest in the castle of tourists and historians alike, and since 2012, this castle has occupied the status of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Here you can also see and buy various handmade objects (poetry, embroidery). After the castle, you will have the option of having lunch at the restaurant of Pasanauri.
After lunch, you will head to Gudauri, on a south-facing plateau of the Greater Caucasus Mountains. , and then to Kazbegi. From Kazbegi you drive through beautiful valleys and forests to the Gergeti Trinity Church, which is located over 2,170 m. (Or you can walk from Kazbegi to Gergeti Trinity Church, which takes about an hour and a half.) If the weather permits, you may catch a glimpse of one of the highest and most legendary Caucasus glaciers – Kazbegi (5,047m), the mountain to which Prometheus was forged, and in the evening we will head back to Gudauri. Overnight at the hotel in Gudauri.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Fasanauri. In Fasanauri you will have a rafting tour that lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes, during which you will row for about 11 km. This is a very easy rafting tour. Then you would have a delicious picnic in nature and free time to play different fun games. In the evening we will head back to the capital city Tbilisi.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Uphlistsikhe. Uphlistsikhe is a fortress and cave city. It is located near the town of Gori, was founded as early as the Bronze Age and settled by humans from the 16th century BC. It is one of the earliest settlements worldwide. The next destination is Gori. the homeland of Stalin, to visit Stalin’s house, museum and train wagon. At the Stalin museum, learn about the life of Stalin at the exhibit which includes unique photos, gifts, and furniture. After the museum, we will head back to the capital city Tbilisi.
After breakfast, we will head to Tbilisi International Airport with our wishes for a happy return flight.
