After the delicious breakfast, tour of the historic city of Kutaisi. Capital of Imereti. Attractions in Kutaisi: The Gelati Academy and Monastery. The Gelati ensemble consists of three churches, the bell tower and the academy building. The facility has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1994. Bagrati Cathedral from the 11th century. After breakfast in Kutaisi, you will drive to Akhaltsikhe and visit Rabati fortress. The fairytale fortress from the 9th century. The fortress was the residence of the Jakheli family, which was conquered by the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century. Nowadays, Georgia is an important tourist attraction. Then drive to Atskuri. It is one of the oldest settlements in Georgia and is located in the southern part of the country between the cities of Borjomi and Akhaltsikhe. Atskuri is located on the border of the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park and the area offers good opportunities to ride horses. While riding you will learn interesting stories about horses and territory from your travel guide. Riding takes about an hour and then drive to Bakuriani. Overnight in Bakuriani.
After breakfast in the hotel, you drive to Borjomi. Here you can visit “Borjomi National Park”. The most important medicinal springs in the village are still on the territory of the park. After breakfast in the hotel, start with the capital Tbilisi. The next destination is Gori. the homeland of Stalin, to visit Stalin’s house, museum and train wagon.
