Welcoming you by the company’s representatives at Tbilisi International Airport and then take the car and go to the hotel to pick up the rooms.
Then we will start our Tour from old Tbilisi area and the neighboring Heydar Aliyev Park – sulfur baths – Georgian and Armenian Apostolic Orthodox churches, synagogue and Friday mosque, and we will stand to see how people from different religions praying side by side, Tbilisi was and still is a tolerant city with a large multinational community.
You can also enjoy beautiful views of the Old Town and the Mtkvari River which is close to Narikala Castle.
Narikala Fortress was built as a defensive fortress in the 4th century. Here you will also discover Shardeni Street with its cozy modern cafes and art galleries. we will visit one of the oldest churches in the Church of Anchiskhati (6th century). One of the oldest and most precious symbols with the face of Jesus Christ was preserved in the church. After that, you can walk on Rustaveli Avenue.
On Rustaveli Street, you will have the opportunity to visit the famous opera and ballet theatres in Tbilisi and visit various museums and cultural sites. In the end, visit the National Museum with its beautiful golden cupboard. in the evening we will back to the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, a breathtaking trip awaits you in the magnificent Caucasus Mountains and begins with the largest reservoir in eastern Georgia. Next, we will visit Ananuri Castle, which is one of the best monuments in late feudal Georgia. Although there are few monuments like this on the territory of the country, it is Ananuri who helps to clearly understand how people lived in that distant time.
Unlike other similar structures, the Anuranic structures are well preserved. This special feature arouses interest in the castle of tourists and historians alike, and since 2012, this castle has occupied the status of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Here you can also see and buy various handmade objects (poetry, embroidery). After the castle, you will have the option of having lunch at the restaurant of Pasanauri.
After lunch, you will head to Gudauri, a ski resort located on a south-facing plateau of the Greater Caucasus Mountains. You have free time at the resort to enjoy the rural European atmosphere, ice skating, and cable car rides. and in the evening we will head back to the capital city Tbilisi.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Bakuriani resort. You have free time at the resort to enjoy the rural European atmosphere, ice skating, and cable car rides.
Then we will head to Borjomi city, famous for its sulfuric water, a treatment mineral water flowing from its natural springs, and then to the most famous parks in Borjomi, the national park which is one of the largest parks in Europe, and in the evening we will head back to the capital city Tbilisi.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to the Kakheti region, which is located in the east of Georgia. Then, we will head to the famous town of love Sighnaghi and in the way, we will visit the Bodbe Monastery. The monastery is one of the main pilgrimage sites in Georgia, due to its association with St. Nino, a missionary in the fourth century in Georgia.
Then after that, we will visit the city of love – Sighnaghi which is famous for weddings and classical palaces in the old Italian style, vineyards, and carpet industry. We will take a tour of the city and see its old castle, and in the evening we will head back to the capital city Tbilisi.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Mtskheta (UNESCO World Heritage Site), a few kilometers north of Tbilisi.
Mtskheta was the capital of the eastern Georgian kingdom of Iberia from the 3rd century BC and is one of the oldest cities and cultural and religious center of Georgia.
Next, the visit will be the Jvari Monastery, a true medieval architectural masterpiece built on a hilltop. From the hill, look at the confluence of the Mtkvari and the Aragvi rivers.
Then we will head to Gori, the homeland of Stalin, to visit Stalin’s house, museum and train wagon. At the Stalin museum, learn about the life of Stalin at the exhibit which includes unique photos, gifts, and furniture. After the museum, we will head to the cave town of Uplistsikhe, named “Fortress of the Lord”, situated on a rocky mount on the left bank of the river Mtkvari. The fortress is mentioned in chronicles dating back to the earliest of times, and its history began in the I-II millennium B.C. Uplistsikhe was an important religious, political and cultural center in the Hellenistic and the late Antique periods, and it has been identified as one of the oldest urban settlements in Georgia. Enjoy an interesting walking tour here of the rock-cut structures, in the evening we will head back to the capital city Tbilisi.
After breakfast, we will head to Tbilisi International Airport with our wishes for a happy return flight.
